Biography and mini-bio? problem with the front page profile

Hello there, hope this finds well everyone. I need help with this biography and "minibio" thing, im new to this and its a little confusing. Some months ago i wrote what it seems to be a biography for my professional page. But i realized now that it is not good, not natural and incomplete. This one appears right at the front and public page, right when i search for my name. I'd like somehow to go back to the automated version like "X is an actor from Y, known for Z (2025)...". I've also seen many profiles that have a different biography at the front and public page (the mini bio) and then when I click on their profile on the contributor page (i guess), i am able to see a longer and extended biography. How can i do like that? How can i show at my main profile something shorter and "default" than what i have on the contributor's page?

Hi javirdcc- If you already have your mini-bio on your page and you would like to change it, you are welcome to correct any information in it. However, please know that as per our guidelines: "It is our policy not to remove biographies in their entirety unless we receive an updated or amended version of a similar length. Replacing a biography that contains a good deal of background information with one containing almost no bio information (i.e. only includes their credits) will be considered the same as attempting to delete a biography." I encourage you to review our Mini-Bio Help Guide: https://help.imdb.com/article/contribution/names-biographical-data/biographical-data-guidelines/GMT9T242VQADZUQM#bio As per your question regarding the bios on other pages, you will see the display of these differently depending on their length. For example, if there is a page with a bio that is quite short it will display fully on the page but if there is a bio with more length it will cut off and show an arrow. Once you click on the arrow, it will take you to the 'Biography details page' of the person where you will see the same biography but now displaying fully. On the Biography details page of each name page you will not only see the biography but other details (if data is available) like Birthdates, Real Names, Death Dates, Spouse, Family, Bio Trivias, Quotes, Trademarks... Hello Maya, thank you so much for the answer. So the thing is. I truly like the automated mini bio that IMDb creates. When i wrote the biography, i didnt know it would look like that and now i regret writing it. So the thing is. It is possible to write a long biography but that the first paragraph appears as the mini biography? If this is the case, can I write this paragraph and saying something like “[Name] is an actor and composer from Spain, known for [TITLE NAME…]” and making that “title name” an interactive link that links to that title, like the automated mini biography does? So that will be the first paragraph for the mini biography appearing at the front and main page, and the rest will be secundary. Also, how many words must it be to appear like that? or how the structure must be? I hope im explaining myself correctly. Thanks again, Maya!

@javirdcc- You're welcome! Yes, you can go ahead and submit a correction to the already live bio you have on your page and let's say change that first paragraph to look like the example you mentioned with the appropiate formatting links. I will advise to not include more than 3 titles as further information on credits should go to the filmography data. You can then arrange the rest of the bio into the respective paragraphs that should follow. Do keep in mind, our guidelines as stated and linked above when you are correcting the bio.
