Billy West as Woody Woodpecker on From The Earth to the Moon

A while back I sent some proof that Billy West provided the voice of Woody Woodpecker in two episodes of the mini series From The Earth To The Moon and it wasn’t accepted, he was not credited on the show, he mentioned on his Twitter account that he did the voice, here are my contribution numbers:#210717-030218-417000

Hello Comic_guy87,

The credit could not be verified because there is no evidence included on the submissions, therefore our editors can not validate the credit. I encourage you to re submit the credit with proper evidence for our editors to verify, you can find details and instructions on our Uncredited help guide.

@Comic_guy87 In particular within the guide above, see the link to https://help.imdb.com/article/contribution/filmography-credits/cast-acting-credits-guidelines/GH3JZC74FVYKKFMD?ref_=helpsrall#voice and note that uncredited voice credits are rarely eligible (they could be added as trivia though).

Which is something IMDb seriously needs to reconsider. It's a terrible policy along with "Additional Voice" credits are only eligible depending on where the end credit author puts them.

Edit: IMDb can't say they are the most complete internet movie database when they reject very valid cast credits.

For example, singing voices are typically rejected because they are uncredited but are also well know which leaves the choice for the cast of Xanadu as either credit the actor with the singing voice during a number but leave off the uncredited attribute (which is correct) or delete the well known singing voice for a feature.

It's even more frustrating for well known voice actors that are typical attributed as "Additional Voices". (And yes, this type of credit should vary from live action to animation where almost every animation movie has additional voice credits.)

This credit in IMDb is solely based on where they are credited. This policy makes absolutely zero sense. No other credit in IMDb is dependent on location in the credit roll. It also leaves many well known voice actors, cameo actors and even the director without a cast credit that they deserve.
