Badly Formatted?

Please explain how this is 'badly formatted'. I made several contributions with the same format which were approved. Both individuals are credit on numerous other episodes of 'The Chosen'.

Maybe the system is auto-rejecting your comment because it includes a link? A link to the website Angel Studios doesn't justify adding the person's name to the credits... who is Angel Studios and why are they correct as opposed to someone else? Just attach the photo and include a comment explaining your addition and it will be reviewed... nobody is going to click on an external link when reviewing the information.

Angel Studios is the production company who makes 'The Chosen'.

The link is to the episode video, which allows a reviewer to verify the credits directly.

The contribution page does not allow for any attachments.

And as stated, I submitted dozens of credits for this episode using this format and they were all accepted.

But if the system is auto-rejecting the submission then Angel Studios being the production company doesn't matter... the system cannot determine who Angel Studios is, so you could be sharing some random video with the person's name in the credits.

But regardless, maybe it is not auto-rejected and it is being physically rejected due to an issue with the link...

I used your link to view the video and it takes me to a video that is 56:51 in length. So there are no credits at 36:21. Are you sure the link is correct?

@SirDredwick OK, yes, there is a 1 character typo in the URL. Not sure how that occurred (since I copied it repeatedly from the same source and other submissions are correct).

It is somewhat absurd that updating a submission creates a new submission instead. And I can't seem to find a way to delete the original submission, resulting duplicates. The website really needs an overhaul.

I agree with you, the website needs an overhaul. Or at least a little more info in the response when they don't accept the submissions! Did they accept it this time? I hope it works out for you. Good luck!

@SirDredwick Unfortunately, no. This and several other several other updated contributions were rejected as 'badly formatted' or 'unable to verify'.

In all cases, sufficient and verified information was provided. Often multiple individuals appear in the same frame of the credits. Some are approved, some are rejected. I provide a link to the episode video and a timestamp to the credits frame where they are cited. How else could I make it easier to verify???

Frankly, I'm done with IMDB. I will not even try to make another contribution. Just a waste of time!
