Badly formatted summary

Over the last weeks I have submitted several summaries for the Belgian TV-series "Heterdaad".  Some of them have gone through without a hitch, some were declined as "badly formatted".  After going over them with the guidelines I can find nothing wrong with them, and "badly formatted" is rather unspecific.
Can anyone tell me what is wrong with the following contributions ?

#230407-141653-359000

#230407-104834-142000

The first is a second submission for the same one as #230402-095512-908000 .

PS : I have contributed numerous summaries for a.o. "Slisse en Cesar" and "Lily en Marleen".  The problem never occurred for those submissions.

Hi Damienklael-

Thank you for posting the submission reference numbers! I have taken a look at them and the reason why they were declined as 'badly formatted' was because of the length of both plot summaries.

Generally, our preference is that Plot Summaries are a brief paragraph between 239 and 299 characters. If you want to provide a more lengthy context, you may want to consider submitting a Plot Synopsis instead.

However, in this case, I encourage you to make the corrections on both so that they will fit within the word count range and re-submit them so that our editors can review them again.

Cheers!

@Maya

A summary should be longer than 239 characters, not words.

The summary example in the help page is around 150 words.

If there is a maximum length it could be stated in the help page, and preferably trigger a warning in the contribution form.

@Peter_pbn Thanks; our post above has been corrected (words -> characters).
