Badly Formatted Cast Addition?

Can someone explain why this cast addition was declined for the reason "badly formatted"?

#240616-193142-356000

I included a copy of my studio contract (using the method of copy/pasting the imdb-generated link) the which has the exact wording the studio used for the character name. The only discrepancy I can find is the episode number does not match IMDB's episode number, but that happens in production frequently.

Thanks!

Hi @quangaroo -

Just to clarify, is the credit for voice dubbing? If that is the case these details may be added to the other works biography section, or alternatively IMDbPro members can add these to the additional credits section of the name page, we do not list dubbing credits.

If it was any other voice work in which you did not receive an on-screen credit you may also add it to the options above as uncredited voices are not listed as per our guidelines.

Cheers!

Thanks for jumping in, Bethanny. No, not dubbing in the traditional sense (ADR or foreign films). I was filling in for an actor who has passed away. On-screen he was portrayed by a body double whose face is never seen (and who is credited) and I supplied the voice.

As a voice actor, the vast majority of my roles are for on-camera live action characters that are either CG, puppets, animatronic, etc. Very few of them are ever categorized as "dubbing" credits.

In this particular instance, I believe I did use the "uncredited" attribute, so it is puzzling why it was declined as it's similar to so many of my other credited roles.

@quangaroo As mentioned before, uncredited voices are not eligible credits as per our guidelines, in this case you will need to add as suggested above.

Cheers!
