Avoid Images Used in Polls to be Deleted
One of the problems faced in the IMDb polls is when an image that is used as an option is deleted. This makes a great disservice to polls based on images as they are replaced by a gray square and sometimes it is impossible to know what the original option was as seen in this example: https://www.imdb.com/poll/gR0eCzhSQJI/
While today poll editors take some measures to avoid this problems, as requesting a text description of the image to the options and while images can be replaced if the original author keeps the list and requests the change, the fact is that most of the old polls won't be updated when an image goes missing.
Usually it is hard to understand why images are deleted as easily as they were uploaded, and images used in polls do not break any IMDb guideline. So it would be great if you could identify images used in polls and avoid deleting them.
The only logical reason for an image used in a poll to be deleted is that it could be duplicated. Today, if someone tries to delete an image used as a poster the IMDb shows a message reading "The image you are reporting as a duplicate is the current primary image on the title. We request that you report the other duplicate in the gallery leaving the primary image live, alternatively please request a replacement of the primary image prior to reporting as a duplicate."
It would be great if you could show a similar message when an image is used in a poll so that way its deletion can be avoided which would help a lot both in the visual appeal of polls and in the administrative tasks behind them.
