approved vs declined

Why is it if the "Accept/Decline" happens less than a couple Hours is like almost always "Accepted/Approved", but then it takes over 24hrs then it is 100% Declined.  As a Veteran similar Reviews/Etc covering something r/t Military one gets approved, and the other gets Declined.

Hi dead_to_self -

There are many factors as to why some data submissions are processed quickly while others may take longer.

First, submissions are not processed strictly in the order they are received; we optimize processing for overall efficiency and accuracy, which means even items within the same submission for the same data section may go live at different times.

Additionally, depending on the data type we have different processing times; for our current  processing schedule and possible delays, please refer to the Data Processing Times page.

Second, as far as approved vs declined submissions, there are also many different factors that could effect a different processing time depending on the amount of research required by our editors, such as if the submission concerned a top ranked name or title, if a title is released or unreleased, etc.

I hope this helps!

@Michelle Thanks for the Reply.  I agree and understand what you covered.  my problem is r/t submissions outside of the  Reviews like Trivia/etc.  If the Trivia/etc Submission takes over 24hrs it is declined 100% of the Time.  because it could NOT be Validated?  trivia is usually "Useless" information.  Like "Easter Eggs" placed in DVD's, Shows, etc or something that was not done on purpose per the show and someone catches it how are these Validated?  Why are they needing to be Validated?  I understand each review, trivia, etc should be checked for copyright, and inappropriate stuff.  But most is NOT able to be "Validated" unless they watch the show, call producers, etc it appears that those who check the info must have "MONK" (Tv Detective show who has major OCD) need to use "Validate" like a person who CAN't color outside of the Lines.  Couple of my Submission in the "Validate" section I have added Links, etc to "Proof" and still got Declined.  I am an old war vet, and due to ptsd, etc I rarely able to leave the house, so things like this is helpful via being able to share some "Experiences" or catching something interesting so I share it.  When I get "Unable to Validate" for something that is easily validated, or is just useless trivia ... something is WRONG for the "Policy" is not clear (Worded too strict) for the person using it to "Check" the Submission.

Hi dead_to_self -

Thank for sharing these additional details and your frustrations regarding your observed Trivia rejections.   As we aim to only display factual trivia, there may be instances where your submitted data flagged and our editors were unable to verify.

If you have some recent examples, can you post the 18-digit submission reference numbers associated with these declined Trivia submissions?  I can then take a look and try to help identify the reasons as to why they were not accepted.

Cheers!
