Credits repeatedly falsely altered

They have removed factual information and you should take steps to protect this data.

Quite a lot lately, things have been falsely altered that I added, just the other day someone altered all JB Smoove's credits on Curb Your Enthusiasm from 'Leon' (as appears onscreen) to 'Leon Black' like this place is TVMaze or something. And so many others. Makes me wonder why I bother sometimes.

It might help with this misunderstanding if you would remove this old message which appears when you want to add company credits to episodes:

And I really appreciate you looking at this 'Leon' situation which face palmed me this week.

So to explain 2 ways so it's clear, there was a mix of 'Leon' and 'Leon Black', he's been in 5 seasons but credited in 4 of them as Leon and in 1 as Leon Black. Also been credited as J.B. Smoove early on to changing to JB Smoove in later seasons. So what someone has done, is likely get OCD triggered by the messy facts and make every credit identical creating a ton of inaccuracies in his credits as what relates to what appeared on screen.

So one way of putting it is, he was credited only as 'Leon' in the 2007 - 2011 episodes with no name attributes needed except for on the episode (8.9) Mister Softee where he was credited as 'JB Smoove'

The 'JB Smoove' name attribute is accurate from 2017 to present.

In Season 9 (the 2017 episodes) he was credited as 'Leon Black' 

In Season 10 & 11 he was back to being credited as 'Leon'.

So in short, all name attributes from 2007 to 2011 (except Ep 8.9) should be removed and the character name listed as 'Leon'
And in the episodes from 2020 to present, listed also as 'Leon'.

Only the credits on the 2017 episodes can be left as they currently are.

Amazing, I can see, apart from 7 from the 2007 - 2009 period that are lagging in going live, they all look exactly as they do onscreen now. Thank you. :)

Those 7 credits from the 2007 to 2009 episodes have still not changed, 2 need changing from 'Leon Black' to 'Leon' and all 7 need the name attribute removing. Like 5 got half way there. If you don't circle back, I'll just dig out my DVD's and make some screengrabs and do it myself but I'll try for the easy option first.

Oh and 5 of those Skywalker Sound company credits have been deleted again, so I've added them again. I don't know if he submitted that before you warned him and took they several days to approve or he just ignored you. Dunno if there's anything you can do to protect these credits but I'm just dealing with vandalism several times a week now on several titles.

I just went to fix those stuck Curb Your Enthusiasm credits for JB Smoove after you did the majority of them and found that all his credits have been falsely altered again and not a single one matches what is onscreen.

Could you put a flea in whoever's doing this's ear, please.

And I've submitted a completely screen accurate correction, 21 changes so far have been accepted, with 11 still pending. So could you push through any pending or declined here: #211203-065056-365000

After you corrected the credits last time they were all altered again, but in the time between my last comment here and now, I've took time and corrected each one again with evidence as to how it appeared onscreen and in the fortnight since then they have not been tampered with again. So all is good at the moment.

I'm keeping an eye on them and I also took screengrabs on how they are listed on the site so if they are altered again, I can better visually present how they should be corrected. I'll post again if further issues occur but hopefully I won't have to.

The changes look to my eye, an attribute wrongly added to the Michael J Fox episode, and all the none 2017 episodes have had 'Leon' changed to 'Leon Black'.

If they can be reverted and protected again maybe stronger, that'd be excellent.
