Approved Edits not Showing

Feels a little odd, I'm used to seeing changes take affect much quicker than the last couple of weeks. The only issue is, I then have to check what I've submitted and what I haven't.

I've noticed since Thursday that some approved edits are still not propagating through the system. The edit windows seem to be refreshed in a timely manner, but the main pages are taking forever to refresh.

I've noticed recently that the title reference view is sometimes not being updated even though the submission of cast order/names has been accepted and the title's Edit page (editing cast) shows that the update has been recorded correctly.

I know that there can sometimes be a delay of an hour or so for everything to get in sync, but one example was submitted four days ago: "Tales from the Lazy Acre" (1972) {The Culchie (#1.6)} tt1426137 ID=260813-065831-935000

Other examples (submitted yesterday) are 260816-140810-682000 and 260816-204025-580000. These are isolated examples: yesterday I submitted lots of other cast-order corrections for titles and they have been updated perfectly (including on the reference view page). There's also 260816-155550-041000 where all cast except one (Alan Hockey=Armstrong order=4) are displayed OK, but his entry is displayed as if it did not have an order, even though the Edit page shows the correct order.

I think the problem also affects non-reference view - accessing IMDB without logging on (so I don't inherit my user's "Show Reference View" attribute) also lists credit in a way that is neither alphabetic nor the order that I submitted.

It may be that I need to wait longer, but in the first example, I've waited 4 days before reporting it.

@all- I've forwarded this information to the appropriate team for further investigation (Ref Ticket #V2328864549). We'll reply once we receive further information.

Ah! It looks as if I'm not the only person to experience this problem. It'll be fixed when it's fixed. At least your engineers are aware of it.

I've also noticed that there is a longer delay than normal for submissions to go from Pending to Approved. I wonder if this is related to the original problem.

I imagine something in the pipeline has got bunged up and needs Dynorod to get it moving again ;-)

Good luck to the engineers is sorting it out.

When updates are accepted, but don't publish to the live web site, why is there not a watchdog process (or similar) that finds these issues and pushes them through?

Updates were approved on the 14th.  It's now the 17th, and they haven't shown up on imdb.com or pro.imdb.com

Hi, I have problem with propagation of contributed changes to final page.

I have posted changes and after accepting it takes long time to show changes on page. Meantime the data looks neither changed nor unchanged.

For example accepted contribution #260814-201619-914000 there was removed "as property" on 14. august 2026. On page https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0204578/reference/ you can still see unchanged data Marie Rubášová costumer (as Marie Rubásová) but when you click on edit there is "as property" removed. Even when you try to change it you see there is "as property" empty.

What is wrong and why it takes so long to see changed information on final page?

I appreciate you have marked this issue as resolved but I am experiencing the same issues, and a separate one, for edits I have made over the last couple of days. 

The release date for “UK - Wales Only” is approved but not showing for these references:

260818-104034-945000

260818-114303-666000

The dates for “UK - Wales Only” were amended in these references due to my own initial error. The amendments are approved but not showing:

260818-155604-076000

260818-155711-290000

260818-155755-973000

This episode of a TV series was created but the release date is not showing. It also won’t allow me to “open” the episode on some platforms, nor can I add it to my Watch List.  I get the error:  “Invalid const tt44412854”
