Another title mentioned in the "Thanks" section - Movie connection, Crazy credits..?

Hi.

I came across with a documentary that has some names and companies listed under "thanks" credits (nothing unusual about that). However, some segments of the documentary are inspired (well, the idea is copied) by another (short) film, which is listed in the credits (under "thanks"). The director and the title are listed.

Should I add this to the "Crazy credits", or maybe even to "Movie connection" (the latter seems a bit stretch)? And the name of the director to the "Thanks" section?

( Note, that no actual footage of this "another documentary" is included. Both share one same/similar idea, so hence the "thanks" credit. )
