Another movie (Gunner (2024)) inundated by obviously-fake positive reviews
Much like @sushr's post a few months ago, I noticed a surprising number of glowingly-positive, 10/10 reviews for a movie which, by all accounts... is not very good.
Gunner has a 3.2 IMDb rating (yikes) and a number of organically-posted reviews, positive and (mostly) negative, from established IMDb users.
But for such a low-rated movie, it's a bit suspicious that thirty-three of its 54 total reviews are 10/10 glowing praise, almost exclusively from brand new users whose account was created the same day they left the review, and who have never reviewed or rated another movie since.
In fact, sorting the 10/10s by "prolific reviewer" (as I have in my last link, above) shows that exactly two of the 33 reviews were posted by users who've reviewed one other movie, and have an account more than one month old. (IOW, presumably "real" reviewers.) The remaining 31 reviews are ALL from those brand new, single-purpose accounts.
Reporting them individually is... not really a time investment I'm looking to undertake, hope you understand.
