Anachronism goof not posted for "The Odyssey"

Regarding this addition:

Several of the characters in the movie, including Odysseus, use the F word, or variations of the F word, but this word is not in Homer's "The Odyssey" as it's a word that originated in the 14th century.

It's a bit odd since the film's dialogue is obviously not from the original text, and English in general did not exist at the time of the ancient Greeks.

IMDb's guidelines say, "Linguistic anachronisms, too, are usually excused (modern words in historical films)"
