An Incorrect Obituary

How to correct an inaccurate publication of a death.  He is still very much alive.  How can IMDB allow this top happen?  Now, how to correct it.

Truthfully it's a bit of a tedious process. Your best bet is to retitle the thread referring to whomever is still alive and upload some sort of proof they are still alive and a staff member should see it and make the correction. I've had to go through this process several times because it's sometimes much harder to get incorrect data off the site than to put it on. Usually what happens is somebody with very little knowledge of the person in question runs a search and finds a death date or whatever in Los Angeles and assumes it's the actor. (I've probably had to removed 30 or 40 of these over the years)

Best of luck but posting proof here is usually the simplest method as some of the data editors usually read the message.
