In Bobcat Goldthwait's Misfits & Monsters" (2018) {The Buzzkill (#1.8), Ashani Roberts plays Ruby in live-action footage and voices Queen in animated footage. The system does not allow me to add the attribute "(also voice)." Can we add "(also voice)" to our list of attributes?

I don't think such an attribute exists and there is really any need for it: usually if someone has a regular live-action role and a voice role they are submitted as "Role/Voice Role".

Example: Bruce Campbell has three roles in Lunatics: A Love Story (1992): credited but not really prominent Ray, uncredited but prominent Mad Brain Suregeon and uncredited voice of Mikhail Gorbachev. The roles are listed as "Ray/Mad Brain Surgeon/Mikhail Gorbachev".

In some cases, if an actor voices a character also portrayed by another actor it might be listed as "Role/Role #2's Voice" in order to have less confusion in the listings.

It might be okay to list the role field as "Ray/Mad Brain Surgeon/Voice of Mikhail Gorbachev" for Bruce Campbell's part. The technical limitations of IMDb's role fields remain disappointing.

I think it is a question of context. In the movie Mikhail Gorbachev only appears as a hallucination speaking from the cover of magazine and since director Josh Becker, who also portrayed Gorbachev is listed accurately as "Lips of Mikhail Gorbachev on Tempo Magazine Cover (uncredited)" I think that it's okay to leave it as is.

The problem with "(also voice)" idea is that such an attribute won't make the situation clear enough as it won't signify which role was a voice one.

Actually, since I added both Gorbachev performers to that movie based on all the previous cases I have encountered, I am a bit surprised myself that I never tried "Mikhail Gorbachev's voice", but most of such listings were corrected a few years ago in cases where actor also appears onscreen in another role. Other examples I can bring from the top of my head listed in such a way: (for some reason most of them are directors)
Sam Raimi as "Medieval Soldier / Possessed Rocking Chair" in Evil Dead II (1987) (second one is a voice role)
Sam Raimi as "Hitchhiking Fisherman / Evil Force" in The Evil Dead (1981) (second one is a voice role)
Peter Jackson as "Derek / Robert / Minister" in Bad Taste (1987) (last one is a voice role)
Quentin Tarantino as "First Scalped Nazi / American Soldier in 'Pride of Nation'" in Inglourious Basterds (2009) (second one is a voice role)
Orson Welles as "Albert Hastler - The Advocate / Narrator" in The Trial (1962)

I should say that compiling examples actually made me think that the problem is widespread as I remembered quite a few examples when actor has two roles but is credited with only one. An example is Rowan Atkinson who also portrays a voice of the preacher in Mr. Bean.

Hi J,

The voice attribute is to indicate that there was no on-screen performance and the actor appeared in voice over only. Therefore if an actor played two roles, one of which appeared on screen the voice attribute is not valid. See for example Peter Rabbit where multiple actors are portraying two roles, one of which appeared on screen and one was animated.
