Alan Reese - verification for three recent submissions

For the acting credits of Alan Reese (I), I just submitted three additions (FEMALE TROUBLE, HAIRSPRAY and A DIRTY SHAME), three deletions (MULTIPLE MANIACS, DESPERATE LIVING and PECKER), and one change to a role played ("Asylum Inmate" in MONDO TRASHO).

As backup, I'm posting screen-grabs of a conversation that I had recently with Mr. Reese, where he discussed his credits in John Waters movies.  He also clarifies that he plays an "Asylum Inmate" in MONDO TRASHO.

Hi  jonputnam -

Thanks for posting the information, although, please know that we cannot accept text communication as verifiable evidence for credit additions/deletions.

For more information on the providing evidence and what we are looking for (ideally a screen grab of the on-screen credits), I encourage you to review our Help Guide.

In the meantime, if you would like our staff to check the status of your updates, please post the 18-digit submission reference numbers here and we can take a look for you.

Cheers!

Hi  jonputnam -

If an individual is an uncredited background performer, as long as their credit meets our eligibility criteria, it can be submitted.

For credited entries our evidence preference is a screengrab of the on-screen credits, however, for an 'uncredited' performance where the name is not presented on-screen, verification may include proof of employment (such as pay stubs or receipts, call sheets, contracts, etc.) showing that the person worked on the production, or mentions of the person's role on the production in media articles from reputable third party sources etc.   You can also provide a link to a screen shot of the scene where the performer is featured (note that they must be identifiable on-screen).

You can include additional evidence links directly within the submission form in the "Explanation" field.

I hope this helps!

@Michelle Thank you for your prompt and helpful responses.  How can incorrect "uncredited" credits be deleted from IMDB?  On Alan Reese (I)'s page, he is listed as an uncredited extra in  DESPERATE LIVING, MULTIPLE MANIACS and PECKER -- but he wrote (in the attached Facebook messages) that he was not in those three movies.  (I wonder how those credits appeared on his page in the first place?)

Hi  jonputnam -

The three incorrect credits you reported have now been removed.  Unfortunately, these requests are very difficult to include evidence for, if you encounter this issue again, I would encourage including any online sources that reference the full cast/crew credit devoid of the name, and include a detailed explanation for the request.

Cheers!
