AI cover not removed

This film's main image is an AI-generated cover:

https://www.imdb.com/title/tt2254364/mediaviewer/rm1556382978/?ref_=ttrv_ov_i

Obviously this should be deleted and the real poster should be reinstated as the main image:

https://www.imdb.com/title/tt2254364/mediaviewer/rm2595084288/?ref_=ttmi_mi_3_1

however, my contribution here got declined:

Hi Zutroy,

Thank you for reporting this.

I have modified the primary image: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt2254364

Have a good day!

However, I have to ask: Shouldn't the image be deleted outright? It's a fake VHS image with garbled text and no apparent connection to the film, which is from 2013, so it's not like it could've been from the time of release. Should this have been added in the first place? Is this in any capacity official?
