again confused by submission rejection
It is very frustrating to me that when a submission is rejected, you never get a precise explanation as to why. It just says it doesn't meet the guidelines and suggests reviewing the guidelines, which are of course huge. How can I possibly figure out the precise reason something was rejected? Why do the people who reject it not at least cite which guideline it didn't follow?
This is in reference to #260611-210507-473000 where I added actor Woodson, William (voice) (uncredited) for the Fonz & The Happy Days Gang episode S1.E13 "Greece Is the Word". He does the voice of the character named Callous. However, I added this additional information to the submission reviewers (not part of what would get added to the site) which I'm guessing caused the problem:
"Since there is no credit, I am not sure if the character's name is spelled Callous or Callus or some other way. Someone with access to the original script could determine that."
I could've omitted that additional info, implying that I knew the spelling of the character's name, but I was trying to be transparent. Typically cartoons of this era do not list character names outside of title characters. So how do we know Velma, Fred, Shaggy, and Daphne are spelled that was in Scooby-Doo? They're not generally listed in the credits. So it's the same thing here. I thought this would fall under this part of the guidelines:
"Wherever possible, we list character names as they appear in on-screen credits, i.e. the end titles cast listing. We make occasional exceptions when character names are not listed on-screen or when the character descriptions in the end titles include spoilers, but as a rule we try to stick to credits as closely as possible."
Should I resubmit it without the character's name?

Hello jbmorris
You are adding a Voice uncredited credit and with no evidence for us to verify, which is the reason why you are being rejected, based on the Cast guidelines:
Due to the difficulty of verifying uncredited voice involvement, we don't allow uncredited voice credits.
I encourage you to take a look at the guidelines, the credit might not be valid to add, still if you find strong evidence of this person being part of the cast we can take a look.
