Adding Specials to a TV Series

There are many series that have specials which air during and in-between seasons. These episodes are considered "specials" because they usually consist of segments from previous episodes in an attempt to create a "best of" list or something similar. Right now, specials exist on the site as either not having an episode number (appears as 4.0 if it aired before the start of the 4th season) or no season/episode number are included at all which results in the episode being designated to the "unknown season" page.

For example, the show 90 Day Fiance has several specials which there are no entries for at the moment. To name just a few...
  1. Most Outrageous Moments: aired between 7.8 and 7.9.
  2. 3 specials aired after the season 7 finale: Biggest Breakups, Secrets & Lies, and Family Feuds
I think a better way to organize specials on a series page is to have a category labeled as "specials" so that they can call exist together. When you create a page for a special, you select "special" as a category and that is essentially the season number. You enter the episode number according to the airdate of the episode. For example, the 3rd special to air in a series would be entered as S.3 ("S" for special).

I think this would be a better way to organized episodes which fall outside of a specific season and would eliminate questions when adding multiple specials to a TV series.

Thoughts?
