adding soundtrack item for actor when there is no soundtrack category listed
The soundtrack for the movie "Something for the Boys" lists Michael O'Shea as a singer for one of the songs along with others but their names are highlighted, linked back to the actors, but his is not. When I tried to add the song to O'Shea's soundtrack listings I could not because he has no soundtrack listings and the option to add to his soundtracks was unavailable. Suggestions?

John: All Soundtrack edits must be made by starting from the page for the film, not the page for the person involved.
Go to https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0037295/soundtrack/ and click "Edit page".
On the next screen, on the Soundtracks line, select "Correct/Delete". Click "Continue".
On the next screen, you will see that all the linked credited names appear in the following format:
O'Shea's name is just typed normally rather than having a link substituted like all the others. That explains why his name is the only one not linked.
You would want to correct the particular song he performed on, and then replace his name in that entry with [link=nm0642671] just as everyone else on the song has their name substituted by a similar link to their name page.
Hopefully the rest of the submission process should be self-explanatory.
