Adding process for a long plot

When there is no plot in the title there is a button appears "Add a plot". After clicking the button I see the window for adding a "plot outline" which is limited by characters. Sometime there was offer to add "plot summaries" instead "plot outline" when the number of characters exceeds the limit. Now I have to choose plot summaries from long list of options. Is it possible to return the convenient function or even automate choosing between plot outline and plot summaries based on the number of characters?
