Hi, Im trying to ad a date to my films title, I think that because the name of the film has 'brackets' its causing issues. the film is located here https://www.imdb.com/title/tt19802644/?ref_=nm_flmg_t_10_dr The film is called Knock, Knock (Knock) and was released in 2023, when try to add the date to correct the tittle I get an error. So I'm trying to change the title to Knock, Knock (Knock) (2023). Any help would be much appreciated.

The release year should not be edited into the title, unless it actually IS part of the title. This short doesn't yet have a release date, so you need to add one. Then the year will appear as you expect.

When trying to replace "????" with "2023", the submission form states: If you need to change the year as included in the title, please submit a release date corresponding to the new year. If you do not know the exact date within the year, it is okay to omit the day and month in the release date. We will then update the year in the title accordingly if required. For this particular title, a shortcut URL to the pertinent submission form is https://contribute.imdb.com/updates/edit?update=tt19802644:release_dates.add.1. To my recollection, once a release date item is submitted and approved, the mnemonic identifier of IMDb title page will automatically be changed in such a way that the calendar year specified in the submitted item will substitute the "????" part. If more than one item is submitted and the years vary among the items, the earliest year among them will be adopted.
