Adding credits

Hello everyone, I need help with an issue regarding IMDb credits. I am assisting a film composer who is a member of a composer group. He would like his individual IMDb credits to reflect the work he has done as part of the group. I previously added some of his credits under TV listings, citing his connection to the group, and while they were initially approved, they were later removed.  Despite providing official links demonstrating his connection as one of the three members of the composing team, a re-submission was still not approved. Could you please advise on the best approach to ensure IMDb credits on his composing group are properly reflected on his individual IMDb profile? Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Hi davidmccoy87- In order for our staff to further help, can you post the link of the name page mentioned above and/or if you have the 18-digit submission reference numbers for these credits contributions? Cheers!

Hi Maya, Thank you so much for your response and willingness to assist. Here is the link to the composer's IMDb name page, along with submission reference numbers for the recently rejected credit contributions: #250205-092046-330000 #250205-095732-529000 Pending re-submission: #250206-094310-961000Additionally, I had submitted 139 credits (comprising 139 composer credits and 72 composer (theme music) credits) on behalf of the composer, but unfortunately, they were rejected. Initially, the composer (theme music) credits were accepted, but they were later removed, along with the pending composer credits. The rejected credits were for the composer’s work in the group (here's a link to the group) for TV series, Black-ish. Any insights on how best to navigate this and ensure proper attribution would be greatly appreciated. Furthermore, we intend to make additional submissions for the composer’s work within the group and would like to know if we are likely to face similar challenges. Any clarification on this would be extremely helpful. Looking forward to your guidance.

Hi @davidmccoy87, Apologies for the previous response given, and for the previous credits you had submitted being declined, but to prevent you from having any further issues with these credits being added to the composer's name page, I would just like to clarify how they should be listed/submitted. For any work completed as a composer of the music on any title, where the work was credited on-screen as "Music by [Transcenders]", on e.g. Black-ish, Gossip Girl, Survival of the Thickest - these credits must be added as/corrected to only having "(uncredited)" in the attribute field. This is because the individual's name was not credited on-screen, despite having completed the work as part of the band/group. However, this is only the case if the work completed was the main score or original music composed for that title. A theme song, (if a named song, such as this example) should be only added to the Soundtracks section of the title page (this credit will still appear on an individual's name page). I hope this helps, and if you have any further issues, please don't hesitate to let us know via this thread. I would be happy to help! Cheers!
