Adding an award from a festival
Dear support team,
My question is how to add an award to my own IMDB page. For example, here the award is already on the festival page, but I can't edit this page anywhere.
https://www.imdb.com/user/ur163849910/?ref_=nv_usr_prof_2
Also, I tried to add my award once before at another festival, but I couldn't find the category I won the award in and I also couldn't add a category.
I can't find the saved attempt to add the award either.
Thank you very much for your help!
Best regards
Kristina

Kristina: https://www.imdb.com/user/ur163849910/ is actually not a festival page as IMDb would normally think of it. Note that this page is classified as a user page (the path "user" is in the URL). That page is comparable to the pages that all registered IMDb users have such as https://www.imdb.com/user/ur1879600/ (my own user page). I don't know why the festival set up a page this way; it would have been easy to do, but it isn't suitable for allowing filmmakers such as you to be recognized on IMDb.
By contrast, a festival page with award listings would normally look something like https://www.imdb.com/event/ev0000147/2023/1 (Cannes Film Festival) or https://www.imdb.com/event/ev0000631/2023/1 (Sundance Film Festival). Notice that these pages have the path "event" in their URLs because they are classified as award events.
I don't see the Indian Independent Film Festival on the IMDb's list of all award events which can be found at https://www.imdb.com/event/all. If it is not a listed award event yet, it would have to be submitted to IMDb before any of the recipient films and filmmakers can have the award listed on their own pages. See https://help.imdb.com/article/contribution/other-submission-guides/events/G9DXDPWT2TWSXP8U# for information about that.
As to the other festival where you won an award, please indicate what festival it is, what category you won in, and provide a link to the festival's web site as proof that you won the award. With that information, the contributors here will be better able to advise you.
I hope this helps. Good luck!

Dear Gromit,
I am indeed a filmmaker. I have been trying to prove a Special Mention we all won in 2008 at the Festival de Cannes in a Short Film Corner competition (Cannes à la Flip). However, I need the direct proof on the Cannes website for that, I had only found other websites yet. I have also written to the Festival de Cannes, but they have not replied. The award is right, it's not a lie.
If you have any idea that I will be accepted from IMDB, I would be very grateful.
These are the only links I have:

I also filmed some catalogues from The Short Film Corner/Cannes when I was in with other short films and I also was going live in Cannes on my instagram channel, I can also share the Vimeo channel from the director:
Cannes live, my invitation to the Cannes opening party and the catalogues:

Thank you, but I think you can't do anything. The short films title is "Last results" and they told me my name and the short film had to be on the website. It was in the Short Film Corner, it was the Competition Cannes à la Clip and the Short Film Corner belongs to the Festival de Cannes. But I think, you can't do anything. But thank you.
