Adding a short film - eligibility question

I have written and directed a short film as a part of workshops in a cultural institution. It has premiered in a public event of said institution. Right now the film is not fully public as we are attempting the festival circuit.

It has been screened on a film workshop aligned to a film festival and will get another event screening in October, but it's a closed event.

My question is if the film having an official public screening in Warsaw qualifies it as eligible at this moment. I have a two credit IMDb page and at least our main actress appears as a recurring character in a couple of very popular Polish TV series.

Hi @Devoe,

Please see our guidelines on title eligibility for more information as to whether your short film is eligible.

I hope this helps!

Does a password-based Vimeo link count as a streaming platform link?

I'm also trying to make sure whether the information I provided aligns with the public interest rule

Hi @Devoe,

If the title has premiered at a public event, it is eligible and can be listed as a "premiere release" with that date and the location the title premiered at as an attribute. You can find more information on contributing Release Dates at this help page.

If you would like to add evidence for your title's submission such as a password-locked Vimeo link, you can do so but the password would need to be included in your contribution explanation for our editors to verify its content.

Cheers!
