Adding a second director to film

I am trying to add two directors to imdb but I am not being given the option. I have entered the first director as a co-director but there is no option to add a second one.

Are you adding a new title?

It is usually not difficult at all to submit more than one name to the director section.

Perhaps you can post a link or a screen image.

Lanark: In addition to what Peter wrote above, I would note that IMDb will list a director differently if they have the attribute (co-director). It makes a difference whether the film's on-screen credits say:

Directed by JOHN SMITH and MARY JONES

compared to

Directed by JOHN SMITH

Co-Directed by MARY JONES

In the first situation, neither John nor Mary should have a (co-director) attribute. Only in the latter situation should Mary have a (co-director) attribute.

Note that it can make a big difference in the film industry whether a person is credited as a director vs. a co-director. For example, Fernando Meirelles received an Oscar nomination for Best Director for City of God (2002), but his co-director Kátia Lund did not share in the nomination because her credit was as a co-director.

In any event, though, IMDb will go by what the film's on-screen credits say.
