Add Loglines to Interface

Dear IMDB:

Do you plan to add loglines to any of your datasets?

Whether existing or new.

God Bless.

We refer to these on IMDb as plot outlines and they are supported, see https://contribute.imdb.com/updates/guide/plot#outlines

From http://www.imdb.com/title/tt3501632/  ... "Imprisoned, the mighty Thor finds himself in a lethal gladiatorial contest against the Hulk, his former ally. Thor must fight for survival and race against time to prevent the all-powerful Hela from destroying his home and the Asgardian civilization."

Dear Col Needham:

I appreciate the feedback.

I was referring more to this link, http://www.imdb.com/interfaces/, and what they bring back.  Within it, it doesn't mention anything about loglines or as you mentioned "plot outlines".  I was inquiring if IMDB was thinking of adding that to the datasets on that page.

Good example from IMDB as the marvel movies have been really good with all they have been doing.

Again, I appreciate your response and your time.

God Bless.

Sincerely,

Ah, we see, thanks.  No immediate plans, sorry. We will convert this over to an "Idea" such that other people can comment / vote for future consideration.

We also recommend you follow the thread at https://getsatisfaction.com/imdb/topics/imdb-data-now-available-in-amazon-s3 (and you can obtain plot summaries, not outlines, from the old ftp sites until the end of this year).

Dear Col Needham:

Thank you for the link, which includes the old ftp links that I have accessed before.

I'll have to take a gander at the contributor aspect as some quotes I've looked at online are not 100% the way they should be.

All the best as you all continue to do what you all are doing.

God Bless.

Sincerely,

John German
