Add goof contribution on the app

Lisa: As I understand it, IMDb is trying to expand the kinds of data that can be submitted through the mobile app, but that is an ongoing process. (See https://getsatisfaction.com/imdb/topics/new-feature-mobile-contribution for a prior discussion of this.) I don't know when it will be possible to add goofs through the app, but I suspect that it is at least a higher priority for IMDb than some other projects.

• Crazy Credits
• Goofs
• Movie Connections
• Soundtracks
• Trivia

So the app currently offers 1/5 of the interactive content offered on IMDb.com under this category. Why the disparity? Surely mobile users of IMDb have just as much to contribute as desktop users do. So what is the rationale for limiting the iPhone app so drastically?

The IMDb iPhone app should have a way to add to or edit items under the other four categories just as the desktop site does.

The iOS app would be better if users could add items to the quote sections of films and television shows/episodes.

Please add this! Going to the site, scrolling and clicking to get to the right page to add goofs is ridiculously cumbersome!

Plus it's just generally bad UI/UX to provide such different experiences, functions, and capability between mobile and desktop devices

And can we please get a retitle for this thread? After the merge with my FunStuff thread, this current title is a complete misrepresentation. Why not merge it the other way around so my title covered both threads?

isnt is simple to just let the developers add a „sbmit“ button and a text box, is it?

would be cool to get it from your list and let your users get more involved in your product, wouldn’t it?

I guess it’s just about an hour or so to finish the task.

would make some folks happy sharing by App their discoveries. Except this is you goal to not have the community reveal all the flaws and good too easy…
