Add categories for trivia (similar to goofs)
The trivia sections are one of my favourites on IMDB. Unfortunately, they sometimes get very cluttered, especially for particularly popular films or series.
Personally, I usually have a limited interest in for example trivia of the sort "A worked with B in film C". Now, although this matter has been raised before (see the thread who-worked-with-who-in-trivia), I do understand that this is my personal opinion, and of course there might be plenty of users out there that enjoy this kind of information.
As a way to handle the problem of little interesting trivia, the voting-function was introduced some time ago. I believe this function have some merits, but does not really solve the problem of cluttered trivia sections since there might be some low-voted trivia that you happen to find interesting.
My suggestion is that the Trivia sections gets a classification protocol, just like the goof sections. All goofs are classified according to predefined categories, which is very handy as you can skip categories that are not of you personal interest.
I do see that the trivia might be more diverse and harder to classify than goofs, but at least some common groups should not be too hard to identify. Some suggestions: "Cast collaborations (who worked with who)", "Production", "Creative decisions", "References to other movies", "Ad libs" and, of course, a "misc" category that is likely to get quite large.
Given that the functionality already exists for goofs, I assume this should not have to be a huge task to implement. And if the possibility to classify a Trivia-item is implemented just like the voting, I think the Trivia sections could become organised quite quickly.
