Add biography of the production designers and directors of photography
When you click on a director, actor or actress, you'll find everything about them. Where they've studied, where they graduated, when did their acting career began, etc. But when you want to know the story of an art director, a production designer or a director of photography, you just find a description of the movies they've worked on, as if the list below was blank.
It's understandable that it's hard to provide information about a lot of people, but these people work just as hard as the director and the actors, sometimes more than them. They're the ones that are there not just while rolling, but also arriving before the others and leaving after everybody else.
That moment when you think about your favorite movie, how it takes you to a place, it's thanks to the art and photography department. They're the ones that make the movie believable, alive and an amazing experience to watch.
The nostalgia we feel when we see the couch from the Central Perk, is thanks to Joe Stewart, the adventure we live on The Goonies when we're on the ship with them, is thanks to J. Michael Riva and Rick Carter, the online world that Chris Trujillo creates on Nerve, to make us part of the game, to see how far we'll go to have followers, or how far we'll go to save a friend in the Upside Down...it is all thanks to the art department.
I want to know where these amazing, creative, hard-working people come from, so we can admire them, and aspire to do what they do, just as much as we do with directors and actors. Maybe even more.

Submitting a bio or a mini-bio is one of the many data items a contributor can add to any IMDb name page, not just for actors and directors. Two brief examples:
Cinematographer Januz Kaminski
Production Designer Ken Adam (I)
One major reason you may not see a bio on a specific person is that a contributor, which may be a personal representative, a dedicated IMDb user or the person himself/herself, has never submitted data in that section.
I do agree with you on this matter. I just want to inform you on why you may not see a bio for a specific person.
Thanks for posting this idea.
