Actress' name misspelled

I am a cast member of a movie listed here on IMDb called Dissappear in a Day, but my name has been misspelled. Instead of my last name Eijsker, it's listed as Eysker. I tried to correct it, but IMDb declined my correction. I'm trying to provide evidence by sending the official Facebook webpage of the film where I'm tagged in the photos, but I can't find a way to send this evidence. IMDb tells me I need to tick the box “provide an explanation to assist in processing this submission” and “check these updates”, but I don't see these boxes anywhere in my contribution history. When I reload the submission reference, it tells me I cannot add further changes until the first of July. It's really annoying, can someone help?

Is this name page yours too? https://www.imdb.com/name/nm7096513/

If so, you can make a merge request from "Lindi Eysker" into "Lindi Eijsker"

See here for step by step explanation, or watch the video here

Then you can continue to use the Eijsker name page after other one is merged but your credit for "Disappear in a Day" would likely need to be retained with an (as Lindi Eysker) attribute since most likely you were credited as such in that film.

Coincidentally looks like film is removed from youtube just recently after staying for 6 years there, so nobody can check the credits but its thumbnail can still be acquired, and it can be seen your name is credited as Eysker so it needs to stay with an as attribute.

Thank you so much for your help!! I see IMDb approved my contribution already, so the name is changed now. And you are right, I saw the film is suddenly removed from YouTube, I'll contact the producer to ask about this. My name is indeed misspelled in the credits/thumbnail too, so there's nothing to do about that anymore I'm afraid. But IMDb approved my contribution now so everything is fine :D

Hi,

I have changed the credit to display your name but state "as Lindi Eysker" so that the information is correct again. The IMDb reflects the spellings of the credits, even if they are wrong and inconsistent. This avoids someone later seeing a different speling on the credits who might then split the credit and wrongly assume you are someone else.

Hi, ah makes sense, I see the page says "as Lindi Eysker" now indeed. Understandable that IMDb reflects the spelling of the credits despite errors, although it can be annoying ;) Thank you so much for helping me out and letting me know!
