Actress Joan Hayward

I wonder if there is anyone out there who can assist me with updating details on an existing IMDb entry? The performer in question is the British actress Joan Hayward. I've been contributing to the site for a few years now and having been a Movie Buff since the 1950s I specialise in collecting facts about obscure performers and films of yesteryear. I came across the Joan Hayward entry a few weeks back when I was checking up on her husband's film career (the popular Martin Benson). IMDb only has four entries listed for Joan which range from 1953 to 1966 to 1970 and, finally (according to IMDb) singing on a French talk show in 1980. Hardly prolific and I am wondering if the final two entries relate to another 'Joan Hayward'. I've emailed IMDb to confirm the verification history of the existing data but so far no reply. Is there anyone out there who can confirm the facts?

Unfortunately, I'm not familiar with this actress or titles to help confirm if all the credits belong or should be split. Occasionally, when there are performers using the same name, contributors may incorrectly add credits to the existing page verses adding the credit to a new page of the same name.

If you have confirmed or have reasonable doubt that the "self" credit for the French show belongs to a different actress of the same name, you can submit an update to request the credit be moved.

Thank you Michelle for the reply. The IMDb entry has also provoked interest from the DISCOGS and 45cat community specific to the French chat-show and the lack of a discography for Joan Hayward other than her 1979 French Pop Hit. On reflection I don't think its now feasible to remove the French Show. I was hoping that you may have been aware of some footprint or identity of the initial contributor who set up the original entry on IMDb in that they may have verified their contribution by stating that they personally knew Joan Hayward (therefore indicating that the information was reliable and not 'received information'). Once again thanks for your reply Michelle and I think that we've reached the end of the road with further investigations about her chameleon-like career.
