Actor / Self archive footage question

hi is there a difference between actor / self archive footage? does it mean the same thing under which catogory it goes under?

They both fall under filmography credits, but they are not the same. They are different appearances, for example:

Actor (archive footage) – playing a fictional character, but the footage is recycled from an older production
Self (archive footage) – appearing as themselves, but via pre-existing footage (e.g., old interview clips used in a new documentary)
