Actor Name Correction "We did not capture a specific reason"
Hello all!
I’m trying to help out an actor friend of mine who, after years of having her correct name listed on IMDB, recently checked on her page to find that her name has been changed to be incorrect, that is, missing a part of it (she has a two-part last name and one of the parts is now missing). We guess perhaps a recent project may have credited her incorrectly, possibly causing her page and her whole credit list to retroactively switch to the incorrect version.
Either way, I followed the instructions on the “How do I change my name?” page of IMDB help and submitted an Edit Page request with a Name Correction, citing many examples of sources where you can see her name as it is supposed to be, like her official website, her social media, and other credit-listing sites. I quickly received a confirmation of my request’s denial, with the reason stated as “We did not capture a specific reason during processing.” I assume this is referring to my entry in the only text box available for the request, “Explanation,” being inadequate and not providing a good enough reason to correct the name.
I’d like to give it another shot, so if you have any ideas for what I could include in the Explanation box to better prove that her name is currently incorrect and needs to be changed back to the way it was before, I would very much appreciate any tips you might have! Do you think perhaps if I included links to all those sources I mentioned in my Explanation that might improve it?

MJM: Please post your last full data submission here on this message board. You can copy it out of the receipt you would have received from IMDb by e-mail immediately after sending it in. Some of the regulars on the board may review it and, if they can, they may provide suggestions as to how to improve the submission to get it included in the database.
Even though your submission included an explanation, it will not have appeared in the e-mailed receipt. But you should be able to find it in your submission history at https://contribute.imdb.com/updates/history/ -- please post that too.

"We did not capture a specific reason during processing" means that IMDb have not stated a reason. It's hard to say why, but IMDb staff may respond here later. I'm wondering whether the page may have been claimed by someone else or merged with another name.
In general, IMDb's main rule is that the name should match the one used in screen credits, so the explanation you enter should preferably address how she is credited or will be credited in the future. But links to other official profiles may also help.
