Solved

#260125-204455-244000 - Seinfeld original pilot episode

Two submitted corrections were declined with the explanation "Unfortunately, we were unable to accept your submission as we were unable to verify the information provided."

OK - I know this won't change anything, but I WATCHED the episode, and what I submitted was based on the the credits that appeared and that I SAW as I watched. If you really want to verify the information, WATCH THE EPISODE. (You obviously accepted someone's input WITHOUT verifying the information that was provided at that time.)

Hello critterc74

The changes could not be verified since no evidence was provided to verify the modifications. A screenshot from the onscreen end credits would be the best piece or evidence.

You can re submit anytime with evidence. You can find help and instructions in the Help Articles.

Okay, that's way too much effort. I watched the episode and provided a factual correction. If IMDb does not want to take my statement at face-value (like they obviously did for whoever incorrectly input the episode to the data base) sobeit, though they themselves could take a few minutes to watch the beginning of the original "The Seinfeld Chronicles".

However, I'd suggest you update the IMDb Guidelines (something that is way overdue) to be more precise on the requirements for when submitting "hardcopy" evidence is required.
