I like the mix of languages. "The Mummy" may be a stretch, but also kind of funny.

Simce it doesn't really refer to a mother, maybe you should cut the "Mummy" titles, or just include one of them and put it at the end.

I've removed The Mummy (2017) and The Mummy 3 (2008) ('cause of low rating) but I'd like to keep the other two as they are.

Because, the first four are the most common names we call our mothers, "mother", "mom", "mama", and "mummy".

Titles from #6 to #31 are set according to their IMDb ratings, I added I Killed My Mother (2009) at the very end because you know, I don't think it's the kind of movie you should watch with (or without) your mother on Mother's Day.

Added 'Mother's Day' and the two titles with the word "Momma."

Thanks for suggesting! I didn't think of Momma.

Bonafide, could you eliminate the ✨from the title?

We’re afraid the poll software may not recognize the symhol and that would make it technically impossible to push it live.

Although, I'm pretty sure it is supported.

It may, but other members of the team weren't sure about it. With other poll we may try and if it ain't supported we can correct and push another day, but since this one was time sensitive, any error that avoid publishing would have made it non-viable for a whole year, it was better to play it safe.

Bonafide,

The poll software has not been updated since it was originally developed over six year ago. We've already encountered a problems with characters beyond the ASCII printable character set. For instance, Paok used the Greek Iota instead of the Latin capital I.

Six years! Damn.

That's why the bullet typography also does not work on polls.

Very well, thanks for the info. I'll refrain from using special characters anymore on polls.

I like the Mother's Day poll! (I'm sure the other two are good, too; 'just haven't looked at them yet.) My vote: Y Tu Mamá También (or Treasure of Sierra Madre).

May I suggest two small edits to the intro? (edits in bold)

Let's celebrate Mother's Day with films and shows that have words like "mother" and "mom" in their titles.

In the Name of the Father or The Old Man and the Gun will get my vote. This poll just gave me an idea for a father's day poll that I'm excited about because it reminds me of my Dad, who died a year ago. I'll do it for next year; thanks for the inspiration. : )

Hey Boss, This probably doesn't matter bc I think IMDb only really cares about the titles of polls being in AP format, which yours is, but in case this would be considered for the homepage, you might want to change the punctuation a little bit. I know in British English punctuation is placed outside of quotation marks but AP style guide puts punctuation inside quotation marks for most things so it'd be "parent," "father," and so on. It probably would only matter for the homepage, though, so it's up to you, of course.

Changed to American style.

Thanks for the insight.

Btw, I always try to write is American English on the internet, so if my texts aren't in AP style, feel free to suggest any edits you see that needs to be made.

Thanks again. And I don't think this has much chance of being on the HP. The way I see it, IMDb rarely feature polls made in celebration for one-day events.
