"Does not have any existing credits in this section" not working correctly

I was attempting to submit Music Department credits for a number of bands which were credited in a film (that is, not as Soundtrack credits). These bands had previously been listed in IMDb with credits in other departments but not the Soundtrack department. I wasn't surprised to get a warning that began like this: 'Arcade Fire' does not have any existing credits in this section. Are you sure this is the right person? We have these people with similar names in this section :-But the very first name in the list below was Arcade Fire (Composer, Her)... in other words, the same band that didn't have any credits in that section. In fact, many of the names listed below them were also names of people who had no Music Department credits, but just had similar names and had worked only in non-Music Department positions, such as: Arcady (Miscellaneous Crew, Barbarella) Arcades (Cinematographer, Louis Lecoin: le cours d'une vie) Arcadi, Fiorenzo (Actor, Carver's Gate) So the problem is that this function is not identifying only people who have credits in the specific department, even though it should be.

Just to correct my original post, the second paragraph should say: "These bands had previously been listed in IMDb with credits in other departments but not the Music Department."

This also started happening in the acting category as well. I've noticed that when I'm trying to add an actor (mostly stuntmen) who do not have previous acting credits, the first name listed is always the same name as entered. I never really thought much about it until this post.
