Title pages — new version available for sneak peek
IMDb is working on updates to the Title page. The new version of the page is mobile-responsive, meaning all features are available on devices of all sizes, and has a modern look and feel — otherwise it maintains all the functionality of the current page, though some features have moved on the page.
To check it out, click here.
The new version of the page is available to a limited group of fans during a beta period. During the beta, some features are still under construction, and you may encounter bugs.
Known issues:
- We are working on fixing a few bugs, notably: (1) When a country-specific title is not available, we are displaying the Worldwide version when we should display the Original title; (2) We only show up to 250 of your lists, instead of all; (3) We do not yet display "left/right" arrows on features like Photos when viewing the page at a narrow width on a non-touch device.
- Showtimes, if available in your region, are not yet present within "Watch options".
UPDATE: now available!
- Recently viewed
- Related News
- Awards & Top 250
- More like this
- “Character” links are now included in the Cast section.
- The Episodes section now includes a link to all top-rated episodes for TV series.

I took a sneak peek into the new website look and this is my feedback:
1/ It focuses more on accommodating the advertisement for products on amazon vs focusing the UI to make the content engaging and insightful - the core of IMDB. Sad to see this.
2/ If the product ads have to placed - the ad display should be improved. It should complimentary to the content, not vice-versa.
I am a fan - hope someone gives some thought to this feedback. Thank you!

What was crap about the previous format. Why change? If it's not broken, lets introduce a new format. It'll keep people in jobs. Yet another case of companies trying with needless ideas to try to improve something thats ok to read and navigate to start with.

I am fine with new style specially the photo browser. But I have few comments (on minor issues):
Personally, I check in order: vote, photos, rating, awards, genres, language, origin, story-line keywords (not story-line), parent guide, user reviews, similar items.
I avoid video (watch only on ADSL, because heavy HD), also episodes listing (because some just spoil the story line), Don't care much of casting.
I would really like if order is little customizable: either to drop or collapse permanently some sections, or change the order.
They are minor if legacy view will stay always available. Thanks for considering.

I've been using IMDB since I was a kid, and this new layout is just terrible. It wastes so much space for no reason. How can I get the old layout back?

Desktop version:
I liked that on the old version when you hovered the cursor over the "add to watchlist" button/ribbon, it would automatically display all your lists and show which ones the movie was added to.
Also, I liked that when you were rating a movie, it would show the corresponding rating as you moved the cursor over the stars - in the new version, it just shows a big star with a "?" in it, and you have to count the stars to make sure you're giving it the intended rating.
I also agree with others who have stated that the new design takes up too much space - you have to scroll much more to get to the relevant information, and there's no need for everything to be so big.

Old site is not broken so don't fix it!
Please learn most customers do not like change, we do not like to need to spend valuable time learning to navigate a new layout. Life is to short, either leave it as it is or make both versions always available.
The update only really pleases you and the people you are paying way to much for the update and the advice to update.

Pages look nice, but opening the new design from the search results is significantly slower. Haven't measured but feels like seconds compared to instant on old design.

I can not find the watch options button? It is in the update notes, so there should be one, but I can't find it anywhere? What is happening? I even tried searching the web page but these is no " watch options".
Every time I need to access watch options I need to go back to the old version... very annoying.

On the main movie display screen I used to be able to add and remove movies from lists I had created, but the movie main display screen has changed? I now can only click + to add to watch list.
