Thumbnail photos of cast members are too small.

In the new page design, it's almost impossible to make out the faces of actors in the cast list. I understand you want to be able to list more people on a page, but it make the purpose of having photos almost useless. The previous sized thumbnails were ideal and allowed one to see the main actors at a glance. Thank you.

Sorry but we have not made any recent design changes in relation to photo sizes.  It sounds like there might be a problem on your system or browser.  What happens if you look at an affected page in another browser?

Please upload a screenshot and the URL of the page as a reply and we can take a look, thanks.

SEVERAL people are complaining about how tiny the photos are.  That makes it an IMDb issue, not our issue.

Where do I upload a screenshot. I haven't had ANY cast thumbnails for some time. There isn't even a photo box with nothing in it. It's just empty background.

I agree! Choose any "See full cast & crew" option and the photos are maybe an inch tall and there is TONS of wasted white space that could be used. I don't think this is new, but would love to see them larger. Currently I have to click on each name to get to their individual page to actually be able to properly view a photo and identify a face. Thanks!

You'll probably never get a consensus on what size is appropriate for thumbnails. Some people prefer the more compact page that results from smaller thumbs. Others want the bigger pics.

If you're using Firefox as your browser, I recommend this add-on, Thumbnail Zoom Plus. It enlarges thumbs to full size on hover, not only on IMDb, but on many other sites. With this add-on you can check out the full-size pic without actually following the link.

There are probably similar solutions available with other browsers.

That's a great fix! Thanks!

Nonetheless, I say a thumbnail mosaic view of the cast with higher photo sizes would be nice when trying to find an actor by face while the name is not known.
