Small format issue.

Apologies if this has already been pointed out.

When doing name searches, if the "Known For" title in parenthesis that accompanies the name has no release date (because many were purged), a superfluous space appears between the title and the closed bracket.

A few examples:

https://www.imdb.com/find?ref_=nv_sr_fn&q=Chris+Muckle&s=all
- See Chris Muckle (II)

https://www.imdb.com/find?ref_=nv_sr_fn&q=Sarah+Stuart&s=all
- See Sarah Stuart (I)

https://www.imdb.com/find?ref_=nv_sr_fn&q=Dennis+Garcia&s=all
- See Dennis Garcia (II)

The samples include shorts and features, cast and crew, so the seemingly system-wide issue doesn't appear to discriminate. Additional point, I'm seeing this on a desktop, I don't know about devices.

A minor issue, but I figured I'd point it out.

Hi Carter,

I've reached out to our tech team to take a look.

Thanks in advance for your patience!

I think the "space" symbol placed where the absent date expected to be and is going to be in future, such cases should  not be considered an issue at all. It's a feature.

Adding to MAthePA's answer, from the examples you've posted, click the link for each title without the year. None of the projects have been completed and no release dates are listed. So a title without a release year is not unusual.

Please write back if you have any more questions.

Hi, MAthePA and GMJ. Just to clarify, I'm not disputing that titles can't have an absent release year, or that one won't eventually appear beside the title in the search results. Only that seemingly an errant space is appearing, as is sometimes the case after data adjustments and design tweaks. Just like the one I pointed out that's been on the technical team's list for nearly a year here: https://getsatisfaction.com/imdb/topics/small-format-issue Or the one I pointed out that the team quickly resolved here: https://getsatisfaction.com/imdb/topics/possible-small-format-issue-system-wide-on-title-pages And others I brought to people's attention when the boards were hosted on the main site (I still miss 'em). It's entirely possible the space is intentional, as was suggested, but somehow I doubt it in any aesthetic, functional, or grammatical sense.
