More Like This - algorithm changes?

Does anyone else notice a difference in the 'More like this' categorie on movie pages? In the past I used to get a certain type of result that can be described as: "people also like this movie"...and it was a good reference to get my hands on new but under-my-radar movies to check out. Now it seems to have either disappeared:(https://www.imdb.com/title/tt2177771/) or based on new movies coming out (https://www.imdb.com/title/tt5052474/?ref_=fn_al_tt_4) or based on one actor (https://www.imdb.com/title/tt1229238/?ref_=tt_rec_tt)....so my question basicly is: has the algorithm changed? Is there somewhere where I can influence or change this? great site still, thanks, I love you.

Hi Robert,

We take all of the movies and TV shows that you have either rated or added to your Watchlist and then compare your data to ratings made by other IMDb users. We can then find movies and TV shows that people with similar tastes to you like. For each recommendation, you can see a list of the movies or TV shows upon which the recommendation was based. You have either rated these titles highly, or added them to your Watchlist.
For more information, see https://help.imdb.com/article/imdb/discover-watch/recommended-for-you-faqs/GPZ2RSPB3CPVL86Z

Our team is currently experimenting with letting users vote on how good a match is from a users perspective, to improve the their recommendations. A voting feature is currently being tested out, so not all users/pages will see/show it.

Thank you for the feedback...please keep voting when you see the option, to help improve your recommendations for titles you are interested in.
