Lists: Add people to lists directly from name pages

4 years later and this is still a request???

Such a simple request!

Just add it already, the design and coding is basically all there in the Add To List feature already there.

What a load of rubbish

(There is a similar feature on IMDB pro, maybe they consider it a paid feature, which is ridiculous)

so instead of us getting it, it now has become even harder to move around things in a list and the add to watchlist button is gone from movie pages :D gj imdb

i like doing lists many people do

i would love the "add to list" button you have on shows and movies also on actor pages

and sometimes if a list becomes to big it takes a while to find out if the item is already in the list a nice thing would be if it wouldn't be possible to add duplicates of the items in a list

Adding a titles to a list is easy as each title page has a place to do that. But adding names to list is SO hard as there is NOWHERE to do so on the name page. You have to go to the list, type in the name ... search then wade through what can be dozens of names until hopefully you get the right one. It is hard. Shouldn't the adding to list be the same irrespective of name or title....EASY.

Why does the procedure have to be different.

Please add a button, just like the add to watchlist one on the movies pages, to the people pages. So we can add directors or other people we want to follow to our lists directly from their page. And also u can add an icon or something that lets us know when their profiles have been updated in our lists. Like a watchlist where we can keep track of what we like. Thanks

I have just created a list for Actors/Actresses so that I can go to them easier to see their latest Films.
How can I add actors/actresses to this list from their info page rather than having to type in the name of the person within my list search?

Hi, it would be really nice to have a quick button (just as there is such for movies) to add people (such as actors, directors, screenwriters etc) to lists. It will be also nice to have a "watchlist" type of  functionality for persons - but instead  of receiving notifications for "movie times near you" to receive notifications for new movies releases, related to this particular person.

There doesn't appear to be a way to add a person's profile to a users list from their profile page.

While you have a great big button to add a movie or television show to a list of our choosing, you have no such easy feature to add an actor or actress to a list of our choosing. The current system to add an actor or actress to a custom list is clunky at best. It should be available on their page, just like the movies and television pages.
