I'm logged in on my desktop, can't remember the password, the email used for registration is shut down. Can I still save the account?

So, I'm currently logged in my IMDB account on my desktop, as I've said, I forgot my password, and email used for registration was recently shut down. If you want to change the email in your account settings, IMDB asks you to reenter the password even if you're logged in, but I cant do it since the password is forgotten. Is there nothing to be done in this situation? It would be a shame to loose a 15 year old account with thousands of movies rated and a huge watchlist.

Hi there @djavh ,

For the protection of our users, the forgotten password link can only be sent to the email registered to the IMDb account.

Unfortunately, unless you remember the password you set, you'll need to register for a new IMDb account with your new email.

@Sally thank you for your answer. So, I can't do nothing even if I'm currently logged in in that account?

@djavh

You are right.

I'm sorry for the inconveniences that this may cause.
