Film title language

I'm sure this has been requested before, and I don't see anyone at IMDB actually doing anything, so this is just a rant.

So you can only choose one language to display all film titles in. This really screws over ppl who want to quickly ignore foreign films in lists or bilingual ppl. See, imdb and youtube went overboard with their perceived convenience of translation. It would benefit almost everyone to have an option to display the titles in the ORIGINAL language, and have translations as a seperate thing on the page for those three ppl who care. In general, I wish imdb would make their settings page more detailed. As is it's just effing barebones. Take a look at goodreads - and that's BEFORE they sold out to amazon. I may be wrong, but I didn't get the impression that imdb-pro offers anything better in terms of settings.

There is a setting for Original under Title display country/region.

@Peter_pbn i dunno what they mean by "country", but that doesn't work. if i set "country" to original, then "title display language" auto sets to english and some JAPANESE titles show up in RUSSIAN.

@idiffer  The page at https://www.imdb.com/preferences/general should look like this:

It is the “Title display country/region” setting which makes the difference (and remember to click the “Submit” button after making the selection to save the preference).

If you are still seeing Japanese titles in Russian with these settings, please post 2-3 example title page URLs which are wrong and ideally a screen-grab of the one of the examples.  Thanks.
