Editing Lists is still a nightmare
It really
needs to be reverted to back to how it was because the new version is
still a nightmare; you type in the number you want to move it to, click
save list order, then done, and nothing happens. And if something does
happen, only a few of the items you're moving are actually moved. It's
truly a disaster if you want switch around a number of different ones,
because EVERYTHING gets jumbled up. It's untenable.
The way it used to be, you'd click on item no.10 for instance, and drag it to wherever you wanted it to go, and when you let go of the mouse at that destination, say, no.5, the number would change on its own. It made editing take seconds, rather than minutes currently.

I'm sorry to hear you're experiencing this issue while attempting to update your list.
So that we can further investigate, can you please provide us with the following additional information?
- Your browser name and version number
- URL of the list you're attempting to edit
- Specific titles you attempted to reorder, their current position, and preferred position
- Screenshots of the page once you've attempted to reorder
Thanks in advance. We look forward to assisting you further.4

Moving an entry from one spot to another works unpredictably there are blank numbers in the list and when moving an entry to a blank number may even result in the movie to a place well below that number an on to a duplicate number.
I have 4 entries withe the number 107. I should have only one. when the Done button is clicked at a minimum the blanks should be pressed out and the numbers rationalized with the displayed order so that you can start editing again and sort out that mess.
Drag and drop reordering may have had some problems but nothing like this programmed disaster. Please clean this up you are really messing with my OCD.

I've forwarded this to our technical team for further investigation.
We'll update this thread once we have further information.
Thanks in advance for your patience.

Please know that we've reported the feedback regarding the requests to change to a drag-and-drop re-ordering method rather than the manual entry of order numbers.
Our technical team has reported that the issue with the duplicate and missing order numbers has now been resolved. The exports of your lists should now follow the correct order.
Regarding the re-ordering of multiple items, please know that when you update the order position of multiple items within your list, the order of the remaining items will automatically shift down/up in rank accordingly; rather than simply swapping one item's position for the position of another item. For example:
Please let us know if we can offer any further help.

I've been having the same issue. Especially problematic when it comes to "ranking" lists. If you want to add a film near the top, you have to delete everything under the spot you need and then add everything all over again. Hard to imagine why this change was made.
