Constantly having to login into this community

Why am I constantly being forced to login into this new community. This really pisses me off. On the originally IMDB community, I didn't need a different account ... and I didn't need a different password ... and I wasn't ALWAYS being logged out, even though I check, keep me logged in.

Security is one thing, but this is just plain stupid.

I never have to log in again. So I'm guessing this is a function of your browser and/or in combination with your operating system.

I only use Linux; my browser is SeaMonkey, although I've also used Chrome, Epiphany, and Firefox to access this site. Other than an initial login, i.e., the first time accessing this site with a given browser, I'm never prompted to do it again.

Which browser and OS are you using? Are you quite sure you've checked your browser's preferences/settings for anything related to passwords, storing passwords, remembering passwords, etc.?

I have two persons in my household that are on Sprinklr. Me and my daughter. She has to log in every single time. She is only on here every few days. I on the other hand am active. So I only get the obligatory random ((30-60 days) boot out.

We both use the same browser and O.S. Only Spriklr and her bank does not allow user name and password retention. My bank does, but sprinklr does not.

It is annoying.

Do not know if you have noticed but this site has only a limited number of active users. There were so many more before this became active. The accounts are there. But no longer used.

This place only has about 500 regulars. It used to have thousands.

I'm using FireFox on Windows. I don't know anything about password preferences. All I know is when the messages were part of the original IMDB site, I never had to login and my user name was retained. Today on the IMDB site, I don't recall needing to site in constantly. But this community does constantly ask me to login again.

These folks were highly active. But non active from 6 months ago. It really shows in the poll comments sections. They had a lot of followers. Now there are literally none.

They never came back. These are numbers 120-180 in frequency. Note the regular users that are no more.
