Activate Search Bar

Hi,

Whenever I visit any page on imdb, I think that the search bar should automatically get selected so that one can search or write directly without selecting it. It really become easy for the users searching for movies and actors. For demo you can visit youtube.com.

Thanks,

I know this has been discussed before, but please make the search bar active when I visit the site.  I know it's minor but having to click in it is really annoying to make it active so I can start typing.

I think it's the only site that I go to that doesn't have the cursor open in the search bar. They have been asked for years to do it, but just refuse to.

YouTube uses a keystroke of '/'.  Maybe IMDb can follow this pattern.

Hi,

Each time I access imdb.com I have to click the search field. Why not simply default the option to type in whatever you are searching for, i.e. have the "Search bar" clicked already? A small thing but still not present on the website... C'mon, you can do it guys! I'll give you an example: ling.pl - just put that in into your address bar, press enter and you'll know what I mean. This is a small thing but such a convenience...!
