Solved

Subtitles displaying {\an1} at start of row.

Hi, I am watch The Tunnel (2020) on IMDb TV v1.0.6673.0 which is installed on Amazon Fire TV OS 5.2.7.4 (656639420), Fire TV home version 6242057.1

The film is in Norwegian and I have enabled the English subtitles.

A lot of the subtitles displayed have {\an1} and other numbers displayed at the start of the text. I have looked into this and it is code used to position the subtitles on the screen.

I have ensured the app and fire TV are both up to date. I have checked other films and they do not have this issue so it appears to be an issue with the subtitle file itself.

Could you please look into this?

Many thanks,

Claire

Hi @Cromwell4

Are you able to share additional details on the title (e.g., URL) which you're referencing as "The Tunnel(2020)"? Thanks.

There is no URL information as I am accessing the film via an app.

It is this film https://www.imdb.com/title/tt9049042/

Thanks @Cromwell4 - I'm seeing that though the title is available to stream on Prime Video, it is not available via IMDb TV at this time.

If you're still experiencing issues with the captions/subtitles, please contact Prime Video for further assistance with troubleshooting.
