What was the last film you saw and how would you rate it? Pt. 18

Thought I'd post this here until I hear we're doing it somewhere else....

Post the name of the latest movie you've seen and your rating out of 10.

Seemed to me like a watered down version of No Country for Old Men.

Brubaker - http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0080474 - 7/10 - though "inspired by" real events, ultimately this was a fictional story, so I wish they had taken it a little farther in terms of the prison reforms Brubaker started.

What is going on in this photo? Is she being hugged by a giant, long-haired gorilla?

Huh. Sometimes (a lot of times) I wish my background wasn't Heinz 57 dull white American...it would be so interesting to be part of a culture featuring accouterments like that!

Heinz is good, but try Kimball, chilli and garlic!

When referring to a person as Heinz 57 it's like calling a dog a mutt. Background of multiple unknown origins...

I just saw Shyamalan's "Split". Why does it get such bad reviews? I liked it. 8/10

It's been getting great reviews. Shyamalan's best film in years. The IMDb rating is 7.5. Rotten Tomatoes critics give it 75% and audiences give it 81%. Are you maybe confusing it with another film?

I was watching the first 3 or 4 pages of reviews on IMDb, which are primarily negative.

For anyone with a psychology background/knowledge on Dissociative Identity Disorder, it is a pretty inaccurate and insulting portrayal of someone with multiple personalities. It was too entertaining for me to care though. 8/10 would recommend
