Dancer - 8/10 - I've always kind of felt like male ballet dancers were just pieces of furniture for the women to dance around. Sergei is amazing, though according to the film, he is light years ahead of any other male dancer.

He is really great - there is a short film at the end made by David LaChapelle with him dancing in a barn to "Take Me to Church" that is really beautiful.

I just read that Ralph Fiennes is directing a film about Nureyev and Polunin is playing him. Could be interesting if it actually comes to fruition.

The Defiant Ones - 8/10 - what was the deal with Poitier's singing? Totally took me out of the film... And I kept getting distracted by how tight Curtis's pants were. Otherwise, great!

The Disappearance of Vonnie (1994 TV Movie) - 6/10

I wanted to watch this movie because it's a true story about one of the first times ever in the U.S. that a man got convicted for a capital offense without a body or a murder weapon having been found. Unfortunately it never surpasses the level of the average B-movie.
