What was the last film you saw and how would you rate it? Pt. 18

Thought I'd post this here until I hear we're doing it somewhere else....

Post the name of the latest movie you've seen and your rating out of 10.

The Fall - http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0460791 - 8/10 - might have given 9 but for two things. I felt like the ending was a rushed cop-out. And during the entire filming the lead actor pretended to be paraplegic so the lead little girl would have an easier time treating him as such. Most of the production thought he was a paraplegic throughout the entire filming. Seems kind of cruel.

Careful, He Might Hear You - http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0085295 - 6/10

Remember the old, '80s video rental places? They had old, weird posters all over. Some were in what seemed like a cinder block box. The one I went to as a girl had a large poster of this film. I always wondered about it. I couldn't imagine what the aunts could be up to that the boy shouldn't know. Two other posters I remember from that time were Angel, which seemed particularly evil in some way. And Magic, which just looked downright scary.

I never saw any of them, until now...

Sayanora - http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0050933 - 3/10 - What an epic piece of crap! The three stars I'm giving it are for Red Buttons and Miyoshi Umeki. I despised Brando with every breath he took. And what the f--- was that ridiculous accent??? Ug. Terrible.

Paths of Glory - http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0050825 - 7/10 - first time seeing Timothy Carey in a movie. Not what I expected based on his profile photo...
Oldboy - http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0364569 - 8/10
Born Yesterday - http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0042276 - 8/10 -  is it just me or is Billie Dawn a nicer version of Lina Lamont?

Jason Bourne - http://www.imdb.com/title/tt4196776 - 5/10 - I just wasn't into it. And the more I think about it now, there were like a lot of threads left hanging. I don't even know what the point of the characters played by Riz Ahmed and Alicia Vikander was.

I never saw Bourne: Legacy - should I see it or skip it?

The Witness - http://www.imdb.com/title/tt3568002  - 7/10 - interesting topic, but I felt like there was a lot more material that needed to be covered. Of course, it's a documentary nearly 60 years after the event, so I guess it was pretty difficult to find any new information. The interview with the murderer's son was enlightening.
Carol Channing: Larger Than Life - http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1737122 - 7/10 - a lot of fun but with no insight into the deeper issues of her life it was ultimately quite empty. No mention or appearance of any family save for one line where she mentioned her son. I guess being on tour for 50 years isn't too good for familial relations. Interestingly, her son Chan Lowe is a well-known political cartoonist.

Jen,
Your post is old now so you may not see this, but if you do, here goes:
I agree.  I couldn't even finish it!  But there's a great LIVE stage version (on DVD) with Hugh Jackman.  It's actually quite good - and I'm usually not one for plays.  Just thought you might like to know!

The Little Prince - 8/10 - nice, but I really wished the filmmakers didn't feel the need to wrap the original story with the CG animation sections. The short story can stand on its own. I did like what Jeff Bridges had to say in the extras and it made me feel more tender towards the movie, so I added one star for that.

Side note: Why do all Pixel-esque humanoid characters have such huge eyes? Is this Margaret Keane's doing?
